HI, I'M DR. SOMYA.

I am a pediatrician & a meditation teacher. A pediatrician who went from ‘prescribing medication to practicing meditation', I've been meditating for over 18 years and teaching it for 17.

A report published in 2004 stated that over 50% of teens in the US experience mental health issues during adolescence. Increasing Social media use & the recent pandemic has created a further spike in teen mental health issues and suicides connected to mental illnesses.

 

Teen Meditation Experience is designed to equip your teen to handle the stresses of adolescence, and learn a long term strategy for mental health care. Harnessing my experience of science, medicine and meditation, I've designed this workshop with a singular goal: To empower your teen to be happy, well-adjusted, successful through meditation.
